Notice is hereby given that The East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along part of Jenkinson Lane, Hutton from 125m east of junction of A164 Beverley Road & Jenkinson Lane and suspension of the its one way commencing 12th March 2027 @ 08:00 hours until 18th March 2027 @ 18:00 hours to allow for tenching works for the EGL2 scheme for part of Jenkinson Lane, Hutton.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within 7 days.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via:
Jenkinson Lane,A164 Beverley Road, Hutton Balk, Mill Street, Hutton Cranswick CP, East Wolds and Coastal Ward. The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. The road will be closed to all through traffic but access will be maintained for residents, emergency vehicles and pedestrians.
