Sports & Recreation Association Hall Booking
The SRA Hall is a wonderful facility for the village. It has a good-sized meeting room, a kitchen with two fridges, a large picnic area just outside the hall and there’s plenty of parking. It’s also a very pleasant location, in a quiet part of the village looking over the sports fields and close to Gatehouse Lake.
We have a licensed bar, which will be manned by one of our volunteers, although we cannot promise that one will always be available. You are welcome to provide your own drinks if you prefer. Pricing is competitive, as the SRA sees the hall as a community facility and not just an income source.
We welcome bookings for individuals for their special events and offer a discount for local residents and members of the Sports and Recreation Association. The hall is also regularly used by various groups and there are still slots available for these.

Information about pricing can be found below. Then you will need to e-mail the Secretary at huttoncranswicksra@outlook.com with brief details of the event and any queries you may have. The Secretary will then confirm the availability of the Hall and process your booking.

Please ensure that your calculations include time for setting up and clearing up. Events that overrun will be charged per half hour at the hourly rate. If your event finishes late in the evening, it may be possible to tidy the hall first thing in the morning, but please ask when making your booking.
The Hall must be left in a clean and tidy state. The SRA reserves the right to impose a cleaning charge if the hall is not clean and tidy.
Fixed Charges for an Event

If you would like the use of our licensed bar, please state this on the booking form. You may bring your own refreshments if you wish, but these must not be on sale to those attending your event.
Special Event Packages
If you would like to book the hall for an entire weekend for a special event such as a wedding, please contact the SRA bookings secretary at huttoncranswicksra@outlook.com for further details.
Charges for groups and businesses
Depending on availability, the hall may be booked for regular or one-off events. The cost depends on the nature of the organisation booking the hall:

A 10% discount is available when paying for 10 sessions in advance.
For whole-day meetings, the hall is available at a cost of £200, including tea and coffee. Lunch may also be available at an extra charge.
