Proposed Roadmap for Re-Opening SRA Facilities

Update as of 9th March 2021

The following dates and guidelines are subject to Government restrictions at the time and instructions from official sporting bodies, viz the F.A., L.T.A., English Cricket Board, etc., which are still awaited.


29th March 2021

Outdoor sports and leisure facilities may resume.

Teams must follow guidelines laid down by their governing bodies, in particular to changing rooms.

Showers will not be allowed but there will be toilet facilities (restricted).


12th April 2021

Indoor children's activities can resume, with limitations on numbers participating/observing.

Children’s parties with a maximum of 15 parents can be held indoors in community halls from 12th April 2021. A children’s entertainer will count as one of the 15 permitted adults. At all times COVID-19 secure guidance must remain in place and social contact rules will remain until Step 4. Anyone wishing to book the SRA hall for a children's party should e-mail huttoncranswicksra@outlook.com.

Anyone wanting to book the Clubhouse for an event must comply with Government guidelines and the SRA will check to ensure that the proposed event is permissible under these guidelines.

Outdoor hospitality will be permitted, so the bar can re-open outdoors with table service and payment via card machine.

The Craft Group can restart, subject to restrictions on numbers if applicable.


17th May 2021

Indoor events can resume up to 50% of the venue capacity.

Seniors' Club and Church Coffee Mornings can resume and Table Tennis group with up to 8 participants.


21st June 2021

All restrictions due to be lifted.

Ryedale Cycling Event on July 3rd/4th and proposed Have-a-Go Night on 2nd July can take place.
