In the Platinum Jubilee year, many events were planned in the village. From small street events and community parties, to planting trees, Primary school tea party and coronation memory interviews, lighting the beacon bonfire, picnic on the Green and celebration parade.
Rather than seek money for one of these events, the parish council wanted to create a publication of record that would serve as a souvenir / memento for all the residents in the village.
The Bulletin Team produced a souvenir edition of The Bulletin. This one-off issue captures the Platinum Jubilee activities and events taking place in Hutton Cranswick. It is a visual record of the celebrations in the village. Thanks to East Riding of Yorkshire Council and their The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Community Fund.
